Most parents are beginners. Many of us become discouraged. Some simple ideas can make all the difference. We see the big picture. We realize that we can't control children, only teach them to control themselves.

We understand that children get discouraged, too. They are trying to learn how to be adults. It takes them a long, long time. They want us to be patient with them.
